Bread Box Charging Station
Great idea from Better Homes and Gardens.  Click here to go to the site. Just drill a hole in the back, insert a rubber grommet, and thread the power-strip cord through. Cut small slits in 1/4-inch medium-density fiberboard (MDF) to create a divider that conceals the power strip and chargers behind it.

Ping Pong Ball Pendant Lampshade
A cool quick DIY project I found at Dollar Store Crafts. They got it fro Mairie Claire.  Click here to go to their webpage. ~ Gail Lewis   Project estimate: Ping pong balls, about $22 Lamp shade frame, on hand or $1 and up Spray paint, on hand or $1 and up Fishing line or string, on hand Wire, on hand or $1 and up Lamp kit, about $5 and up Spray balls in groups using a different color for each group (might be nice to do with an ombre effect too). They used 30 balls per group (6 rows) for a total of 180 balls for a 45 cm diameter shade. Drill a small hole with the needle into opposite ends of each ball.  Using nylon thread make garlands knotting one end first then pulling thread through each ball from one hole to the other (like beading) filling up the string until all balls are used to the diameter size of your frame; tie the wire up against the last ball. Tie the garland of balls around the lampshade structure, repeat next garland, and so on until the entire shade is covered.

Fried Bananas
It's fruit so it's healthy right?  This comes from The Hungry Giant.  Click here to go to website.  ~ Gail Lewis (serves 6 – 8) 1 banana bunch, peeled, then sliced in half or quartered enough oil for frying butter and sugar, to serve In a pan/pot, heat enough oil to fry the bananas completely. Fry a few bananas at a time until golden brown. You may need to work in batches. If it’s possible, don’t use tongs to handle the bananas – use a spatula or slotted spoon. When done, remove from pan and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil. Serve with butter and sugar on the side.
